Hiding Shortcuts in Everything
Here's a quick tip from Tom Wickerath for hiding shortcut files from your Everything file search results.
Today's quick tip comes from former Access MVP, Tom Wickerath. He wrote in with the following tip for the Everything file search utility (shared with permission):
One configuration I set was to not show me shortcut (*.lnk) files. When I need to find a file, I want the real thing, not a shortcut that might be pointing to a missing file.
