Bad Words in Access

Note, Caption, Format, Pages, Sequence. All reasonable-sounding field names, but all should be avoided.

Bad Words in Access

Allen Browne is a former Access MVP whose website is a treasure trove of information.  There's one page in particular that I've visited probably hundreds of times over the years:

Microsoft Access tips: Problem names and reserved words in Access
List of problem field names and reserved words in Microsoft Access and JET

Any time I create a new table or field, I always visit Allen's website and do a quick Ctl+F to see if the name I've chosen conflicts with reserved words in Access, Jet, or SQL Server.

The list has not been updated in over 10 years, but it's still the most comprehensive resource of this type that I'm aware of on the internet.
