# Combo Boxapalooza!

On Friday, June 18, I will be presenting a free webinar to the [Eastern Time Access User Group](https://accessusergroups.org/et/). The webinar will be from 9 AM to 10 AM Eastern Time (naturally).

My topic for this talk will be using WithEvents to implement advanced combo box features. Here's the announcement text:

> Join Mike Wolfe from nolongerset.com for a session on using WithEvents to add advanced features to the venerable combo box. He will cover the following topics:
> 
> - progressive filtering (a.k.a., search as you type)
> - lazy-loading (big performance gains!)
> - filter by multiple columns (not just the bound column!)
> - and much more

> He will show how to encapsulate these advanced features in class modules. By the end of the session, you will be able to implement these features in your own forms with just a few lines of code.
